Carbon Steel Kitchen Knife
These carbon steel and boxwood kitchen knives are made by hand in a workshop in Solsona, Spain, near Barcelona, where the Pallarès family has been making knives and blades since 1917.
The carbon steel blade is lightweight, and will hold it’s edge longer than a typical stainless-steel blade. It will develop a lovely patina with use
Paring Knife: 3.5” blade
Small Utility Knife: 4” blade
Medium Utility Knife: 5” blade
Kitchen Knife: 8.5” blade
Keep the blade dry to prevent rust from forming on the blade. Wipe with a soft cloth after hand washing. Do not soak carbon steel or leave your knives in the sink.
When you're finished cutting: wipe the blade clean. Do not leave it wet, and do not leave food on the blade. Be careful leaving your carbon steel knife around the sink, as a single drop of water can produce corrosion on the blade.
Crucially: Never put a carbon steel knife in the dishwasher!
